Goals and Purpose

The main goal of this web site is to entertain and inform its public, whom in its great majority is mine and my wife's family that live in Brazil. Also, I develop this web site to perform homework assignaments for one of my college classes, CIT230 - Intro to Web.

For the future, I plan to use this web site as a portfolio for my business adventures.

Site Audience

The main audience of this web site as it was stated above, is mine and my wife's family in Brazil as well as our friends. Since they all speak fairly good english, they can navigate the web site easily and without "thinking" too much!! Since we left from Brazil, our family has been very anxious to know how we are doing here in the United States. They want to see pictures and hear stories about things we do on a daily basis.

Design

The web site follows basic usability requirements consistently. The overall theme is simple and does not change throughout the site. The main content has a white background and the fonts are used in the same patter as well as the colors.

Navigation is text based modified with CSS. If you do not have a browser that does not support CSS, you will still be able to navigate, since the navigation menu is a list of items and sub-items.

This web site has minimun requirements in order to be viwed by usersin different computers.
