Google Analytics

My dad owns a company in Brazil that sells electronic components over the internet. I would provide the URL but right now the website is being reformulated.

One of the reasons why the website is being redone is that he did some research to find out a better way to please his customers and attend their needs. To do the research, he used a few different tools, and one of them was Google Analytics, which helped him learn that most of the people that did a search online and entered his website, entered the model name and number on the search box and not just the generic name of the product. From that report, he knew that he could use a more technical approach to the customers, since they knew what they were looking for and were not just shopping around in the site.

So what is this so talked about Google Analytics?
Well, in their own website, Google answers this question better than anyone could.

“Google Analytics shows you how people found your site, how they explored it, and how you can enhance their visitor experience. Improve your website return on investment, increase conversions, and make more money on the web”

You can always go to http://www.google.com/analytics/features.html to learn more about each feature. Since they are so many I’ll not cover it in this website.
